This house used to be our family's hideaway for the summer. Now it is totally renovated for all year use in a modern fashion that makes you feel it is your home away from home. You will enjoy breakfast in the morning or your drink in the evening in the big veranda with the outstanding sea view ("thea thalassa"). Swimming in the private pool with the breathtaking view will relax your body and senses.

"Beautiful house, nicely decorated with amazing sea view! The place is super clean, recently renovated and covered all needs. Everything including the pool looks as good as or even better than on the pictures. Host Elena is very helpful and makes sure you miss nothing. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved our 4-night stay at Thea Thalassa! The view of the sea from the patio is so beautiful and the pool is stunning (my 2 girls spent a lot of time in it!). The kitchen had everything we needed, including pots and pans, a dishwasher, and even a washing machine... Our favorite thing about Thea Thalassa was that it was like our own oasis outside of the bustle and crowds of Chania. We could "get away from it all", but still be only a few miles from the history, restaurants, and shops of Chania. There are also some nice restaurants in Kalamaki that are a short walk from the house, when you just don't feel like heading into the city. Overall, Thea Thalassa exceeded our expectations and was one of the nicest homes we've ever rented!"

"We highly recommend staying at Thea Thalassa when visiting Crete. The house was gorgeous, immaculately kept, had a great view and is centrally located to all Chania has to offer. The pool and outdoor patio were especially enjoyed by our kids. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until well after midnight. Eleni accommodated our late arrival with great communication and support."

"We had an amazing week at Thea Thalassa. Lovely house, beautiful garden, beautiful pool and stunning views. Many good restaurants nearby and nice little supermarkets. Super good and child friendly beach nearby. Child-friendly house with children's cups and plates ect. Elena also had a baby cot and baby chair. We have nothing to be dissatisfied with, everything lived up to our predecessors and more. We are very happy to come back! "
